This is a horrible place - it's location is convenient but not at all picturesque given the many other places in Fes one can stay. The building is decrepit, stale and old and the service defies description with horrible being a compliment. The food, and this is from me, a long-time resident of Morocco who knows what true Moroccan cuisine... more

Was highly recommended to stay in this Riad but what a disappointing experience overall. Entrance to the Riad is down a narrow dirty lane...no door-man posted to help with luggage etc. Instead had to find a local young boy to help! Entrance is dark and not particularly welcoming. Pool area, on ground level, is always heavily shaded and never gets... more

LOCATION - 5 Hotel is in the medina, right opposite the Batha museum on Place Batha, therefore easy to find and reach by car and only a 5 min walk from the main entrance to the medina. There are two public parking areas nearby. ROOMS - 5 Rooms are very nice: spacious, luxurious and wonderfully decorated (classis Moroccan style). Many... more

Everything about Maison Bleu was wonderful. Our room was magnificant. Large comfortable, and beautifully decorated. Our welcome was wonderfully warm and civilised. Beaurocracy kept to the minimum while focusing on whatever we could possibly need after a long and strenuous voyage. The service was fantastic. Helpfull and obliging. A spectacularly beautiful hotel filled with kind helpful and informative staff. more

They put me in their best room, the grandmother's room, and promised I would move in the morning, but I didn't believe them. The next morning I took my bags downstairs and... more

We had heard so many incredible things about La Maison Bleue, but it really didn't live up to our expectations. We stayed at the riad, not the main house. Everything seemed a bit worn, a bit dusty, simply not up to the standards you expect when you're paying over $200 a night. The breakfast was good and the dinner at... more
