My wife and I have just returned from a week at Riad Hayati. It is an utterly spoiling, utterly romantic hideaway. The essential sunshine break during a rainy London spring. With Moorish arches and cool white decor it is just the right side of relaxed chic. This is everyone's idea of a fantasy home in an ancient medina . Then... more

Spot On! Let me say that these rave reviews are absolutely spot on. For starters, Riad Hayati is more private dwelling that boutique hotel. It has that certain understated elegance that makes it all seem effortless. Very simply, good taste seems to be their hallmark. It sublimely peaceful with impeccable service and a personal attention to detail that is so... more

Riad Hayati is an absolute dream. It's a hidden world within the walls of the ancient medina. It's hard to explain unless you have experienced it. Once inside, one has a feeling of peace and well being. One hears only the trickle of the fountain and song birds. If you arrive at night the riad is a candlelit dream with... more

Ours is a special thank you, because we never actually got to stay at Riad Hayati! Three days before we were scheduled to arrive, my wife fell seriously ill with a chest infection & asthma. The airline demanded a doctor's note. Ron, on the other hand, would not hear of it - and returned our deposit immediately without question. Riad... more

We celebrated a special wedding Anniversary at Riad Hayati. It was perfection from the moment we arrived until we left. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there is a feeling of genuine warm welcome one gets from an upper class private residence that is well organised and well run by trusted family retainers. The owner's attention to... more

My wife and I are rather fussy travelers, but I must admit that Riad Hayati exceeded our expectations in every way, it is absolutely exquisite with exceptionally warm service. Mina's cooking is a delight and fully deserves the rave reviews, Abdel the house manager is charming, efficient, and discreet. Hayati is a complete joy! more

The Riad Hayati experience was, without doubt, beyond our expectations. Its hallmark is impeccable service in a most delightful setting. Superb service was always delivered in a discrete and timely manner. The food was always delicious and in our opinion first class. Particular thanks must go to Abdel and Mina for their dedication and excellence in all that they did.... more

Just returned from heavenly ten days at Riad Hayati. I can't remember when we've been so spoiled. We had the most briliiant birthday celebration for my wife: Champagne, flowers everywhere, candles and Mina's famous "gateau au chocolat". The riad is exquisite: Very stylish, but wonderfully comfortable. But I think it is the personal attention and thoughtfulness of the staff and... more

We spent the best part of our honeymoon at Riad Hayati. It was an absolute fantasy of delights . I think what sets Hayati apart from other riads is that it is a private residence. Ron, the owner, has given the riad a very stylish personal touch from his travels in Arabia and Persia. There is a small plunge pool... more

I have recently arrived home after staying at the lovely Riad Hayati for 5 days. The Riad has to be one of the most beautiful and tranquil places I have ever stayed. It offered a welcome, quiet retreat from the hustle of the Souks and the service offered by the houseman Abdel was attentive without being over bearing. We were... more
