Had 4 nights booked here by a family member. Worked out to be less than $30 USD per night because of a group discount, but even at that price it wasn't really worth it. The facilities are somewhat old and worn. Not enough to make me feel unsafe or grossed out, we were comfortable enough, but it didn't really feel... more

This hotel is quite run down, and needs serious refurbishment. Our room had worn, stained carpets with burn marks (cigarette burns?) and peeling wallpaper. The bathroom was small and i did not like to have a bath because of worn bath enamel and discoloured grouting, but ok to stand in to have shower which worked well (the one postive point about... more

It was a place to sleep and not even that good. The air conditioner did not work very good, the pillows are very hard, and the beds were uncomfortable. The pool was small but relaxing if you were the only person out there. No wireless internet and if wanting to watch t.v., only one of our stations had sound and it... more

Really really don't! Especially if you are a backpacker (this place is advertised on several hostel/budget websites) - some of the staff are very rude and unhelpful and seem to think that backpackers are below them - do not expect a warm welcome. It is a fair way from the skytrain (15 min walk), which in turn is a fair... more

Good: The welcome at reception was friendly and the ground floor gave a very good impression. Breakfast was adequate, and again the staff were polite and friendly. Bad: The room. The 'deluxe' room was small and dark, but sufficed for the one night stay. The biggest problem was constantly hearing other peoples shower water and toilet water passing through the... more

Good place to be if your economy-minded like us:). Clean hotel rooms, though spartan - do not expect 5 star comfort or even 4 star. Had a good night's sleep. The lobby area is well-appointed and the complimentary breakfast buffet was very good - wholesome and satisfying. On the negative side, not that great a location. Also quite far from... more

more
