My husband and I arrived at midnight on New Year's Eve and were checked in quickly and taken to our room. The room was a decent size with a nice bathroom. However, the airconditioning did not work and we were really hot all night. We had to open the windows just to be cool enough to sleep and were woken... more

We stayed here for three nights and then one more at the end of the stay in Jordan so two different rooms. The rooms and bathrooms were of a good size. Facities included a kettle and hospitality tray and the usual cosmetics. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the hotel was clean. The reception area was pretty standard and... more

Booked a non-smoking room. Got a smoking room. Moved on second day. Non-smoking room but filled overnight with smoke via AC. Bathroom door fell off hinges! Hurt wife. Heating not working (supposed to have heat) Freezing. Staff confused and poorly trained. Incessent noise of building work next door. The worst hotel I've stayed in in a long time. more

Spent three nights in Amman on a tour of Jorden. The Hotel doesn't stand out in any way it is a typical city hotel the could be anywhere, anycity. It is basically bland with a bland Reception, a couple of seats against the wall and a dusty piano. The staff were helpful and the food was OK. The rooms were... more

I've been to Amman several times for business. All hotels in the area were booked and was put here. Never again. Stayed here 3 nights (26 Feb - 1 Mar 07). Hotel claims to be a 4 star but would only give it two. Pros: Zaytouneh Restaurant one of the best Italian Restuarants in Amman. Great Food and service. Cons:... more

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and I had 2 fully business days. So I don't how it's the place outside, anyway I can write: The room was clean, very quite. The staff was ok, very kindly and efficiency. The breakfast was fine, nothing superlative.. maybe they can put some english newspapers (at least I didn't see them) Price... more

Recently stayed two nights at this hotel as part of a tour. It is located by the "6th Circle", a series of roundabouts where the "1st Circle" is roughly as near you can get to Amman city centre. However, the location was anonymous and we never did had any idea where we really were within the city itself, only vaguely... more

I have just returned from Jordan where I was on a vacation for 7 days. I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Amman hotel with a remarkable location, right next to the major shopping areas. Also, if I may add to my fellow travellers, my family and I felt very secure as the security at the hotel is really strict. Rooms... more

As a buisiness traveller, I have stayed in very many hotels all over the world, inlcuding several in Amman. Crown Plaza was selected for 1 night after our flight from Jordan was cancelled, and our previous hotel was sold out for that night. There was some big convetion in Amman at the time, and several other hotels we tried were... more
