This is a very clean and comfortable hotel which is in a good area of Lima at a very reasonable price. The hotel rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and there is a nice outside courtyard and excellent seating and breakfast area. The staff are really friendly and helped us get out of a problem by booking buses and... more

We had a room facing the street and the noise kept us up all night. The bed was not very comfortable so that did not help either. The staff was friendly though and we were able to book a city tour through them for a reasonable price (I think we paid $75 soles each for a three or four hour... more

This was by far the worst of our hotels in Peru. It is located in a quaint and interesting building, but when the common areas are 10 times nicer than the rooms, you know there is a problem. It was old and musty and we had random closets in our room with just pipes going through them. It isn't really... more

I'm always pleasantly surprised to see my name on a placard at an airport after arriving in a new city. Hotel San Antonio Abad had indeed sent someone to pick us up. Our driver was very helpful with our bags and with telling us what there was to do in the area. The exterior of the hotel is really impressive.... more

Would have to echo the previous review. This place was SUPER noisy--had a room on the 1st floor and the echoes coming from the common areas and the room next-door were nearly unbearable. That being said, the room itself was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was nice, and service was friendly. $55 for a matrimonial room which was an OK... more

This hotel is clean and friendly but VERY NOISY. The inside of the hotel has one big cavernous lobby which echoes incredibly. From our room we heard individual conversations of hotel guests coming and going. Good forbid any guests decided to actually sit on a comfy couch in the sitting area because I heard every word of their conversation as... more

I choose the hotel from lonely planet and review here saying it was set back from the road. But it turned out to be the noisiest place I have stayed. There is a coutinous flow of cars and a crossing in front of the hotel. And as the window are very old they don't close well which make the noise... more

My sister and I traveled to Peru during the Thanksgiving Holiday. On our way back from Cuzco we stopped at the San Antonio Abad hotel. We did not care much for Lima but we loved the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the free pick up from the airport. The free breakfast was good. The area felt... more

My wife and I just returned from Peru where we spent 5 nights at the San Antonio Abad. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was outstanding, the courtyard was very much appreciated before and after a day of Lima hustle and bustle, but what stood out the most was the service offerred by this hotel, namely by its manager Paul... more

What a lovely hotel. After walking the inca trail I was very pleased to stay here in this lovely old family run colonial hotel in the Miraflores district of Lima. The hotel entrance is large, light and airy with a parquet floor and grand old wooden staircase, and quietly grand reception area. My twin room had a view over the... more
