Very nice hotel complex right on the red sea. Lovely pool too. Need to get up early to catch a sunlounger on the beach, but the beach attendant can usually find you a spot. Food was good but was similar each night despite having a different theme. entertainment was OK. Rooms were good, although surprising they could not give us... more

The Interconti in Hurghada is a well designed resort if you aren't into 24/7 lager louts. Big pool, plenty of loungers at the pool and beach, lots of fish in the bay and never too far from a drink. Family room was large with a good view, though no balcony. All Inclusive is a bit cumbersome (keep the little guide... more

Spent two weeks here in August 2008. We were a party of five females - ages 60, 41, 40, 15, and 13. Although it was averaging 38 degrees each day, there was a breeze from the sea, and we never felt too hot. Do NOT go all inclusive - we went B&B. The best food in the all inc option... more

We stayed at the Intercontinental from 30 June 2008 – 11 July on an all inclusive package. We have visited Egypt twice before and stayed at the Sofitel (Taba Heights) and Hilton Sharks Bay (Sharm El Sheikh). We found the Intercontinental to be the best! Our check in was very quick we were the only ones to alight from the... more

We booked this hotel as we were assured that the five of us would fit into one of their family suites - bear in mind this was the only hotel in the Longwood brochure that did state this - I now wish that we had contacted other hotels direct as the suite turned out to be a standard twin room,... more

I arrived after 2 flights and a 5 hour transit, I was in a very bad mood so my first look at the hotel did not reach my expectations; it was slightly smaller than other hotels. But after a long nap, I woke up and saw the amazing, heavenly view from the balcony and I instantly fell in love with... more

We arrived on 19 Feb 2008 for our honeymoon. We were promised fruit and water on arrival -alas this took untill week 2 for us to arrange through our rep(not the hotels fault, more Thomas Cook! We were given 2 single beds-great for honeymooners! The hotel did sort this the next day though, we were give an apartment with own... more

Faultless. I prebooked a Limo Transfer and I must say it was well worth the money (15 Euro). I was met by a member of staff from the Hotel as soon as I arrived in the arrivals hall. I was given my room key before my bag was collected of the carousel for me, then straight through customs and into... more

Rooms, beach and sea are beautiful! All rooms have see view. Water sports are cheep and people working in that section are very nice. Service in restaurants is quite bad. Most of the staff is nice and kind but not drilled very well. Food is bellow average. They always serve one kind of meet and fish, rice, potatoes and boiled... more

I stayed here with my partner and 10 year old son for two weeks with a 3 night break in the middle in Cairo. Our stay was excellent from check in to check out and I have no complaints to make. As many others have stated the food is nothing special, this is true, however compared to other food we... more
