We stayed here whilst on a tour of the Golden Triangle with 8 others and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The bungalows were basic but clean and confortable. The food was great and early morning tea welcome prior to the safaris - unfortunately no tigers for us. Staff friendly and entertainment enjoyable. We all booked a massage one afternoon - another... more

A super, unpretenious game park lodge; full of charm and character with smiling, helpful, polite and efficient staff. The bungalow rooms are basic but more than adequate with efficient heaters and hot water bottles!! (The weather was unseasonably cold). Food was basic Indian with limited western dishes but served in a dining room with roaring log fires. And we saw... more

We stayed for 2 nights here as part of a tour called "In Search of the Tiger" and we absolutely loved it! The setting is so peaceful and tranquil, like a little pocket of paradise in the jungle and in keeping with the surroundings. Its not plush and I admit the pillows could be a bit more plump, but the... more

Although the property is welcoming, the rooms are dated and the beds are about 2 inches thick and hard. No TV's which is ok with me. There are frequent power outages so take a flashlight with you. Generators will eventually kick in. Food was excellent but all Indian. Staff was very attentive and friendly. In Feb the pool was too... more

We stayed for 2 nights as part of a week-long organised tour "In Search of the Tiger" and we certainly saw tigers - 8 of them! The accomodation is en-suite but very basic (bed very hard) and the choice of food limited. The cleanliness was good, the food quality excellent (you need to like Indian food though) and the service... more

It is a hotel close to the Ranthabore National Park. The main reason for visiting was to see a Tiger. Sadly we did not but we did see a magnificent leopard and lots of other wildlife. The staff are pleasant but the food and facilities are very basic. No luxuries. I enjoyed it because I felt it was not a... more

We stayed here for two nights as part of a cycling trip round Rajasthan, and really enjoyed our stay. The resort is sweet, a cluster of little cottages round a central restaurant/bar building. Our cottage was big and clean, the bathroom was absolutely fine. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was good and the bar was... more

While in Sawai Madhopur we stayed at the TIGER MOON RESORT which is the perfect place for a genuine Indian wildlife safari. Accommodation is comfortable and meals by firelight are excellent and appetising.I can't wait for my next visit and more tigers !And I must say that our stay there was truly a memorable one. more

Although the site itself is quite beautiful and the accommodation units appealing, the infrastructure is basic (which is okay for the wildlife enthusiast), service is pathetic and the management negligent. The local staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are a rip off - water being charged at 400% the regular rate and safaris at twice or more the government-approved rates.... more

We arrived at the resort as a last step of a five star tour, so we were a bit shocked seeing the basic accommodation. The greatest shock was when I got in the pool and my husband noticed a dead rat lying on the bottom of the pool. When we draw the staff's attention to the unfortunate accessory in the... more
