Whilst I would agree that the staff are friendly, I would stress that, in our experience, they are no more so than in rest of Japan. I would therefore consider the reviews below to be misleading. The Asakusa View Hotel is both affordable and spacious - two factors which are rare in Tokyo's hotels. I was a solo traveller and requested a non-smoking room. They provided me with a top floor room facing the Senso-Ji temple, which I thoroughly recommend as the views are spectacular.
