I stayed here on my first visit to Langkawi in 1999 (the list doesn't go back that far!). My first solo trip for many years, nervous & unsure of costs elsewhere. We booked this hotel from the internet. We checked in, and checked out an hour later! The bed had not been made - there was sand under the comforter! No proper lighting. The worst - the toilet - a little door at the end of this room, and a steep 4 steps down, into the 'toilet/bath'... an unwashed toilet bowl,... more
