I chose this hotel because I got Starwood points and it was near the train station. I had an early train to Singapore the next morning. I was checked in very quickly and upgraded to a pool view room. The pool looked very nice but I didn't get a chance to use it. The room was spacious with a nice... more

Rather convenient to get to, take the airport train and it arrives next to the hotel. Just 1 tip: be careful when you buy multiple train tickets. Make sure you get a ticket each even if they give you a ticket that says "2 persons". We thought that ticket allowed 2 people past the gantry but it didn't and we... more

The exterior wows you; a monster of glass and steel. Inside, however, it looks warm and inviting. I like how there are lots of glass windows that bathe the area in natural light. Upon my point of resv, i mentioned to the reservations agent that i wld like to upgrade to the premier room, and she informed me of the... more

The positives: very nice lobby, good restaurants and right across KL Sentral. The lobby's quite nice with soaring high ceilings and a European classical design with a few modern touches. I ate at Latest Recipe and the Middle Eastern Restaurant at the 8th floor. Both had great variety in their buffets. Latest Recipe, for example, had Japanese, Indian, Malaysian, Chinese,... more

There is nothing like a bit of competition that keeps a hotel on its toes for its service quality. Le Meridien KL, physically shoulder to shoulder to the Hilton KL, fights to outperform its neighbor and this rigor shows throughout the hotel. I had brought a small company of friends on a weekend getaway to KL and stayed for 2... more

A large modern city hotel with excellent service. When we arrived I was a little cautious but our room was exceptional with spectacular views over the city. Very comfortable and very quiet. Food, and prices excellent. Highly recommended. more

For a city hotel with easy access to the airport this was a good 4* choice. We chose it for the pool which is shared with the Hilton and really was the largest we could see from Trip advisor. and it did not disappoint us. Check in was quick although our room was not ready at 2.30pm when we arrived....had... more

I travel often to KL on business trips and stay at the Le Meriedien due to it's location directly opposite the main train station. Very convenient when it comes to leaving back to the airport, or moving around town since the LRT and Monorail's about 5 to 10 mins walking distance.Only cons are, you'll have to bear with the heat.... more

I stay at this hotel very often because of its location, very convenient for getting to and from KLIA. But about a month ago they switched internet provider, There was nothing at all wrong with the internet service from a guest perspective so I can only assume that it was a cost-cutting exercise on the part of the hotel's management.... more

We stayed for one night as part of the SPG complimentary stay. The checking in was good with attentive staff, the rooms and bathroom were very clean and the view was ok since we are staying on 27th floor. We booked one paying room and upgraded to premier and using the rm50 voucher to offset it. So the whole experience... more
