We stayed at this hotel for one night. Based on the reviews, I was not expecting much from the front desk staff, but was very pleasantly surprised. Maybe we just got lucky, but they were extraordinarily helpful. We arrived at 9:30 a.m., and they checked us in (room was not ready obviously), took our bags, offered us breakfast, and were... more

Still staying here while writing this review and using their free in room internet. Hmm wonder if they'll pull the plug on the connection if they know what I'm about to write. This is not the most impressive Residence Inn I've been to but it's not that bad either. I'll just list the positive and negative points so you can... more

We stayed here with the whole family (2 adults 2 kids) for 3 nights. Our main objective was to do some sightseeing. The hotel is located not far from the Rosslyn subway station which was good enough for us to get in and out of Washington. There's a Starbucks across the street and a ruby's tuesday (diner) nearby. The hotel... more

Lots of problems checking in at the front desk - it took 2 people to finally get us the 1 bedroom we had reserved (no one spoke english until we got to a manager). Room was okay - just not brand new. Breakfast was nice (kitchen staff was very pleasant), but this was so-so. We were paying with reward points,... more

I would agree with most of the positives on the reviews if you are planning to stay here for a weekend or 3 day nights, but an extended stay tends to highlight the best and worst of this Marriott. The staff is very friendly and responsive, I will give them that. But I have to wonder why they choose to... more

Great family hotel that will meet all of your needs and most of your wants. Quick background - my wife, 4 kids (ages 11, 8, 6 and 4) and I stayed from late July to early August 2008. The pluses: 1) The two bedroom units have a full kitchen, small dining table and two bathrooms - very convenient for families.... more

Great hotel! We visit our son who lives in DC quite often but this time my husband's sister and brother-in-law wanted to see DC. This hotel was perfect. We booked a two bedroom, two bath suite with a small living room and kitchen. It was a great place to sit and talk and relax especially with temperatures in the high... more

Nice, clean, safe hotel. Nothing too special but good enough for a short stay. Only about 2 easy blocks to the subway (orange line). I enjoyed the free breakfast (eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, make-your-own waffles, cereals, etc), but picky eaters might like something a bit nicer. Parking was only $12/night. more

Excellent rooms, small kitchen inclusive. Ample space to work, free internet. Very professional staff at the front desk. Other staff very friendly. Diner and breakfast inclusive in the rate, coffee and cookies free. Rate of 330usd/night too high for a the one bedroom suite. The only problem are the planes taking off from Reagan airport, non stop over your head... more

I, my husband, and two kids (6 and 8) stayed at this hotel April 21-25. It was a perfect location for a sightseeing vacation in DC. We were initially concerned because for some unknown reason this hotel is not listed in AAA. But based on the reviews here we decided to go for it. We can't believe how well it... more
