We just got back from a fantastic 10-day trip to Honduras that included a 4-night stay at the Lily Pond Guest House on Roatan. I can only add to the long list of positive reviews. All in all, it was wonderful. Sean, one of the co-owners of Lily Pond, picked us up directly from the ferry. From the outside, the... more

I am not surpised to see overwhelmingly great reviews, but I am glad to over a different opinion for my fellow traveller's consideration. My issue with this place is something unique to the island - the power shortage. During my stay in Lilypond, there was an ongoing power issue island wide and, unlike most of the hotels and inns, Lilypond... more

We loved our stay at the Lily Pond. Sean and Zac are great hosts and gave us all the right tips for things to do and places to go and even loaned us snorkeling gear. Breakfast on the first story deck was a great way to start a long day at the beach and sundowners right around the corner was... more

My husband and I had the wonderful experience of staying at the Lilypond guesthouse for 3 nights, during our honeymoon in June. We really wanted to stay away from crowded resorty type places and the Lilypond Guesthouse fit the bill by providing a quiet, charming and romantic ambiance while still being minutes (walking)away from wonderful restaurants, lively bars and the... more

If you´re not on a traveller´s budget, or if, like me, you are but are tired of low-standard accommodation and feel like treating yourself, look no further!! Immaculate accommodation, the most amazing hosts, great position for bars/restuarants/dive-schools (hugely recommend Coconut Tree)/massage (Chez Breezy is a must). Lily Pond also has a rooftop verranda offers an amazing 360 degree view of... more

My wife and I stayed here for 9 days in March/April of 2008 This is a very small and personal property a bit like staying with your best friend, you quickly become one of the family. Everything about our stay was perfect, the room, the fantastic breakfasts and the beautiful garden. Shaun & Zak were the perfect hosts full of... more

The Lily Pond Guest House is like your second home, just better, because you are on holidays. The guys, Sean and Zak, the two English owners made a real dream come true in the paradise. The location is perfect; a little bit further off from the "busy" main street, in a lush, quiet garden. All shops, bars, restaurants and dive... more

We spent the last two nights of our 14 night trip through Honduras at Lily Pond. It may sound like a cliche but we really did save the best for last and we had a wonderful stay on the mainland (you can read the review of the Diving Pelican Inn La Ceiba on here as well) which was equally grand.... more

I just got back from a 5day/5night stay at The Lily Pond House, West End, Roatan, Honduras. "Outstanding!" is the only word that comes to mind to sum up my experience. I stayed in the Capt Morgan room and it was fantastic. Sean and Zak run a top-notch bed and breakfast. They are the most gracious hosts. From the excellent... more

We spent the last few days of 2006 at this amazing B&B and what a way to end the year! From the second we got there to the time we left, Sean and Zack took amazing care of us. The rooms were clean with tasteful decorations. When we reached there, the rooms were thoughtfully put together with music and a... more
