I spent a Friday night at the Hotel Ave del Paraiso and couldn't have been more disappointed. After staying Friday night, I left for a weekend trip out of San Jose. Intending to stay again at this hotel after the weekend trip, I asked the woman at the front desk if I could leave my larger luggage at the hotel.... more

This a great place to stay if you want to be away from downtown San Jose. The staff is very friendly and helpful. All rooms have balconies, and breakfast is included. They have free internet access in the lobby, or you can rent a wireless card for $10/day and take your laptop throughout the hotel (even out on the balcony!).... more
