Stayed for one night at the Adventure Inn b/c I had flown in from Manuel Antonio and needed a room for the night before the international flight in the morning. Based on reviews, closeness to the airport and cost ($65 a night and includes breakfast), I chose to stay here. Hotel is semi-close to the airport, but it was still... more

My husband and I stayed at the Adventure Inn one night in October. We needed, first and foremost, easy access to the airport, as we had a 5 am flight the next morning. On that front, the Adventure Inn isn't bad. The rooms were spacious and relatively comfy. I found the "friendly" sign near the door advising American tourists to... more

We stayed at the Adventure Inn for two nights with about 20 family members before our drive down to Dominical. We very much enjoyed our stay. Mike was great...took car of our car rental and admission to the Water Park, which the kids loved. Breakfast was included and made to order. The restaurant/bar owner (ask for Wyoming) and the sisters... more

The Adventure Inn was a great surprise! Close to everything, nice resturant, fun giant jacuzzi and very comfortable beds. Friendly staff and a very warm feeling all around. I have lived in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica for 4 years and when I need to make trips to San Jose the Adventure Inn is where I will stay! more

The Adventure Inn was perfectly located for us - near the airport and we loved that we were always the last people on, and the first people off any shuttles/tours we took. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Any questions we had were promptly and courteously answered. All the amenities anyone may need are onsite and the rooms... more

We stayed at the Adventure Inn for our last night at CR, because we wanted to be close to the airport, after reading the good reviews here. We didn't really understand the reviews, this place looks and feels like a motel that got stuck in the seventies, and definitely not a great place as it was described here. The breakfast... more

I reserved a room at Adventure Inn through the website (http://www.adventure-inn.com/). The manager, Mike Robinson, was easy to correspond with via email, and answered all questions I had ahead of time. The cab ride from the airport to Adventure Inn was about $10. We stayed at the hotel twice and each time, our room was very clean, the shower was... more

I stayed at Adventure Inn for 7 nights and felt like I was coming home every night! The staff is excellent, super friendly and will help in any way they can. The hotel is super clean, well taken care of and in a pretty nice, residential area...feels very safe. I loved the Costa Rican theme! The rooms are pretty comfortable,... more

We recently spent a week at the Adventure Inn. Having travelled to more than 50 countries we know that it's often a toss of the dice between one's expectations and a hotel's promises. Not so with the Adventure Inn. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms and premises were meticulously clean. Nothing was broken, bent, worn-out, or missing.... more

CLEAN!!! After living in hostels and hiking around in mud, it was a welcome to stay here our last night in Costa Rica. The hotel is located in a small gated community (felt like I was right in the suburbs) and about 10 minutes away from the airport (less if you leave early morning). I paid 99 USD for a... more
