I stayed at the Michelangelo in January 2007 for 3 nights. I found my room fairly small & basic, but adequate. This hotel was basic accommodation but the service of the staff made up for any inadequacies. They were always friendy, helpful and could speak English. We enjoyed our stay there and enjoyed the town of El Calafate. more
My husband and I stayed here for two nights in March 2006. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, pointing us to places in town to eat and sign up for the (highly recommended, if expensive) ice trekking tour. They speak enough English if needed.
