We booked this trip through BJ's wholesale Club..and boy did we save $$$. It cost us $120 a night, and we had a free night for our six day stay. Loved loved loved this resort. The rooms are spacious and clean. Awesome bedding and views. The pool area is excellent, we were on east coast time, so we were up... more
This was my 3rd visit to Desert Ridge. The hotel is stunning. The property is large, well-maintained, relaxed and sophisticated. It is contemporary in a growing region of Phoenix and is very impressive... it would be hard to be disappointed at this hotel. Stunning spa area and pool--fantastic restaurants (though I recommend you skip Roy's-- overpriced and overhyped). The grounds... more
I stayed at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge for 3 nights for a business convention and the Hotel was an excellent facility to have a convention at. The check in was fast and easy. The rooms were clean and spacious and had everything a business traveler could ask for. The food and service at the restaurants were very good but... more

We just got back from this resort and we are talking about going again already. The resort was Beautiful and the staff was Wonderful. I don't think that I have stayed at another hotel that has had better all around customer service. Nearly every person we talked to, whether it was at different restaurants, outside, at the front desk etc.... more
Beautiful hotel. Beds comfy, service wonderful, food great. Wish the pool scene was better.....but if you have kids it is great. Very expensive but worth it. Far away from everything. $60 cab ride to airport. You need a car if you want to go anywhere. But luxurious, pretty, relaxing, and fun! more
My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights the first week of April. We had a fantastic time. We arrived at night and the hotel was beautifully lit. Upon entry the staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking to our room we were a little nervous as we had to walk to the back of the hotel and down... more
Our family of FIVE ( two parents, two middle schoolers, and a 3rd grader) stayed at the Marriott Desert Ridge Hotel during our week of Spring Break in early April. We arrived early Friday evening after a long day that had started 12 hours earlier; starting in Flagstaff, moving on to a fabulous day at the Grand Canyon and surrounding... more
I must be living in another dimension than some of these reviewers because my experience at the Marriott was outstanding - and I was just one of the "sheep" attending a conference there! My thought upon arrival was that perhaps since I was only there for the conference that service provided to me would be sub-par but that was not... more
