We stayed here Oct. 22nd to 26th. It was our first trip to Sedona for a family wedding. We had a courtyard room, #118, with 2 queen beds. Comfy beds, very clean, a/c worked well, great views of the courtyard and the red rocks. The staff was wonderful. We never got up early enough to try the breakfast! We highly... more

There's still construction out front, so you can't walk down the street but it's peaceful on the hotel property. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the entry to my room was less than inviting. They could put a few plants or something so it doesn't look like a cheesy motel. The room was clean and had everything but... more

Our stay at Kings Ransom was great! I had arranged for the ballooning package and at check-in, they had the pick-up information and voucher ready. The inn is very convenient to town and we walked to the restaurant for our first dinner. Currently there is road construction that makes walking slightly more hazardous but that has nothing to do with... more

The pool area of this hotel was beautiful, and the rooms were typical hotel rooms, nothing special. I think for the $150/ night this hotel was a little pricey for what you get. There are hotels that are of equal quality at $80 / night in Sedona. I ended up changing hotels after one night because I wasn't happy with... more

We three couples traveled together and wanted a hotel with a nice pool but not a fancy price. Our plans were to spend little time in our rooms, so we figured a well-located, "middle of the road" hotel would be fine. However, we all agreed that next time we would pay up for a better class of room accommodation. The... more

I stayed at the Kings Ransom for five nights - I was at a conference in Sedona and the room was steeply discounted. Overall I was quite happy with the place. The room is spacious and clean, with plenty of room to spread out my yoga mat. The pool area is beautiful, with a great whirlpool. Unfortunately, I didn't have... more

I am giving our overall experience "5 stars" because we had an excellent stay. and thought the hotel was great for the price... Our room was clean, huge (2nd floor trailhead, king bed), had a refrigerator, and our jacuzzi tub worked well. We took advantage of the "free wireless" in our room (since we had our lap top-and we used... more

My husband picked this hotel based on the pictures off the website. Looks can be deceiving. The pluses were that the hotel appeared fairly clean, the view of the mountains was nice, and the hiking trail behind it was convenient and beautiful. The negatives were...only half the jets worked in the jacuzzi, the pool is not heated and therefore was... more

Likes: The view was amazing (but I think it is everywhere in Sedona). The pool area was great, even though I only stayed one night and didn't get a chance to actually use it. The fitness center looked nice too. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the bath and body works toiletries in the bathroom. The bathroom had... more

Kings Ramsom advertises as being dog friendly. Yes, they allowed my stog to stay in the room (an additional $15.00). Other than that there is not a single good thing. Only certain rooms are available for pets and the one I stayed in was truly disgusting. It smelled like unrine and vomit. The carpet was so filthy. The worst part... more
