An amazing honeymoonDespite pratically being on the runway, the plane noise is not bad at all, and I am sensitive to noise. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was nice. Food was good. Great business hotel. more
We stayed here for 6 nights while attending a conference at the hotel. The rooms were very nice and very clean. The furniture was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was typical for a hotel of this type. Internet access was $12.95/day including local phone calls. It worked well. There was a flat panel tv with a decent... more
After reading several mixed reviews I was a bit worried about my recent stay at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised however that this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The hotel has ample self parking, which at $28.00 is more reasonable then most hotels in the area. The front desk staff was cheerful and upgraded me to a beautiful... more
this is a very professional hotel and of very good quality...there is simply nothing wrong with it..although for some people its location as an "airport" hotel and therefore some distance from eating locations might be viewed as a negative. We stayed there 4 nights and found that catching the shuttle ..which runs every 15 minutes..to LAX ..enabled us then to... more
I can highly recommend the Renaissance Montura. After the horrendous experience of LAX Airport I was in need of somewhere to relax and was so happy to get to the hotel. The Renaissance is only a few minutes from the aiport and the shuttle service picks you up right outside the baggage claim area. The hotel is quiet (even though... more
Very nice hotel close to LAX Room was very clean and comfortable. Becareful of the nickel and dime expences (parking, internet, water, etc), we got a pkg with parking incl. One nice thing was an empty fridge (they will fill for you if you want) instead of a minibar. Gym was small but functional and there was a small pool... more
we have had great experiences staying at Renaissance Hotels , mostly in Europe and when we searched for a hotel in the Los Angeles Area very close to the beach cities and high wayaccesible , that also offered a nice week end rate we came to pick the Montura hotel , we stay here for 3 nights and found a... more
My wife and I stayed here a couple of nights before leaving for Singapore in early April '08. It is situated just shy of being in a flight-path for LAX. The surrounding area is pretty much a rental-car wasteland. Nothing of significance is within close, walking distance. The only two dining options within walking distance are the hotel's offerings or... more
I stayed 1 night here on a lay-over from SIN-LAX and LAX-MOB to break up what would have been a totally unbearable journey. Transport was free by courtesy shuttle from LAX to the hotel. To catch it, you have to go out of the airport onto the curb following the signs for hotel courtesy shuttle and just wait around for... more
I stayed at the Renaissance Montura during a layover at LAX. I booked the room for $99/ night on Priceline and what a great deal! Luckily, the free shuttle van was waiting just outside of baggage claim when I got outside. The van was full, but comfortable. It stops at the Marriott first and then the Renaissance. The driver was... more
