We stayed at Le Montrose several years ago and had a great stay. This time around we made our reservations two months in advance for a one-bedroom suite. When we arrived at 4:00 pm, the front desk told us they had given our room away to another guest who decided to stay over an extra night. When we complained about... more

First off, it looks like an old apartment building (in fact it is an old apartment building). Not impressive. Pre-paid reservation through Orbitz for (2) nights in a one-bedroom suite. Booked as only (1) night with the hotel. However, front desk staff was helpful. The hotel has a cheap DWR-type interior design that is showing wear and tear. Bad seams... more

4 guys in our 20's stayed here for 5 nights in LA, the hotel was generally Ok. Good location, Modern Rooms, Good Gym, great views from roof. Only bad points was the lack of a bar in the hotel, size of the pool area and poor tennis rackets we were given. Apart from that it was ok, I would return... more

What a great hotel! It is located on a quiet residential neighborhood just blocks away from great restaurants and shopping. You can save some cash by parking on the street, instead of the garage. The decor of the room is beautiful- very modern and comfortable. We stayed in a studio with a step-down living room. Our room was on the... more

We stayed at this hotel following a recommendation by friends. We spent 3 nights over the 4th July weekend, and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very stylish and rooms are nicely furnished. We stayed on the third floor and had a balcony overlooking the front entrance. All staff were courteous and efficient and when we ordered room service... more

Another of the growing number of 'try hard trendy hotels' where low lighting and uncomfortable furniture are more important than customer service. The highlight for me was on day four of a six night stay when i was dropped off at the curb by a studio representative after an entire afternoon of negotiations for a future project. We were sitting... more

We booked three nights at Le Montrose Suite hotel having read good reviews on this website. We were pleased with the comfort of the room and had two good nights stay. Unfortunately, things went wrong on the third morning when we were woken at 7.00 am by very loud noises from above which we eventually concluded was industrial type cleaning... more

So, 3 days in this place was to be the highlight of a 3-day stay in West Hollywood. I got an executive (think it was 234 on 2nd floor?) and although the room was ok (ish) it had loads of shortcomings in terms of space and view. Luckily on talking to reception they were able to improve things for nights... more

I just returned from a 3-night stay at Le Montrose in West Hollywood and was very pleased with the hotel. The location is ideal, within walking distance of the Sunset strip and probably a 10 minute drive from Beverly Hills and 15 minutes to Hollywood. The staff was very friendly and helpful (always printing driving directions for us) and the... more

We have just returned from a week long stay at Le Montrose, a lovely boutique hotel in West Hollywood. True, it's not exactly "central" but where is in L.A. ??? It's less than a 5 min walk to the Sunset Strip and 5-10 min walk to Santa Monica Boulevard, hardly anything to grumble about ! The hotel was beautifully done... more
