The hotel is on the outside edge of downtown. So it's close to downtown - either a 20 minute brisk walk or a short drive. Other sights are easily accessible via the main crossroads right by the hotel. Do note it can be confusing to get to the hotel - may call for directions first depending the direction you're coming... more

Just a quick note to echo the other reviews. This is a convenient and inexpensive lodging on the edge of downtown in Denver. It's OK for a night or two if you have something else to do or are en route to the Rockies but not a destination in itself. more

Nicely converted building with a bit of character. A bit out of downtown (20-25 minute walk to 16th Street Mall) but with free parking and very good sized rooms excellent value for a longer term stay. We had a suite with two bedrooms and kitchen, I've owned smaller houses (in the UK, admittedly)! Housekeeping was excellent. Local restaurants are good,... more

Location was great for the price and for our needs. We were attending a wedding at the Governor's Mansion and were able to walk there and back with no problems. The neighborhood was not shady at night in my opinion- but you never know. Rooms were awesome with PLENTY of space and pull out sofa bed/ kitchenette. Staff was very... more

Nice hotel. Great Location. Area is a little shady, but its no where near as bad as people make it out to be. Might not be a good idea to walk around late at night though. Full Kitchen with everything you would need in a kitchen. Comfortable bed and nice sitting area. Staff was friendly. They have free coffee all... more

We stayed for one weekended at this hotel, and it was a very pleasant stay. The room was large, clean, and furnished with modern new furniture. The kitchen was a good size for a hotel and had everything you need to cook and eat meals. There is even a 24 hour grocery store within a few blocks of the hotel.... more

The location really was not what we wanted but everything downtown was booked far in advance-this really isn't downtown- but fee parking, our willingness to walk a fair ways and the helpful staff made up for it. A walk downtown took us about 35 minutes, back from the capitol was about 45. Sunday parking downtown was free though for the... more

Rooms were decent size, with good features. The kitchenette was a big help for a 4 day stay. Plenty of stores nearby - but the neighborhood is not what I would declare the "safest" for a person on their own. Parking was fine. I really liked the location, but we had to walk alot to get to the attractions. Pepsi... more

I really liked the place. I like the old building that transformed to a hotel. The room was good...not as good in Scottsboro, AZ, but it was comformable. The games at Coors Field were cool. With a hour away, you can gamble your life away or climb (with your car/van/SUV) to Pike's Peak. more
