This is a nice location in an increasingly gentrifying neighborhood. (I was sorry to see that a little locally-owned health food store across the street was replaced by one of those "upscale edgy" clothing chains) You're about 20 minutes via CTA from Watertower, and 25-30 from Union Station, counting the time it takes to wait for the bus or train.... more

I have been staying at the Days Inn for years. The current staff is amazing. They are very helpful and they will go the extra mile. The hotel has been rehabbed over the years and is in it's best condition it has been in. Get a business room if you want a little bigger room with a little nicer experience.... more

The room was very clean and cozy. Bed linen and pillows extremely comfortable. Coffee maker, iron, ironing board, safe, hair dryer, microwave, refridgerator, and snacks all included. This Days Inn is a good value. Rooms are quiet, at least if you are not facing the street. A variety of interesting restaurants in the area, such as the Creperie and Pars Cove.
