First of all - the hotel is quite a distance from The Strip. It does not look glamorous and the drive in is rather unimpressive. There is no lobby per se - rather the playing floor with all the shops, cashier desk, registration desk etc. scattered around it. Music is very loud on the playing floor! 90-ies rock is played.... more

Do NOT stay here if you need sleep. They are adding a new wing right next to the current wing and begin construction every morning at 5:30AM sharp! Several loud backhoes and trucks driving around, beeping as they back up, slamming metal, ... you get the picture. It is impossible to sleep after 5:30 AM, and there are no rooms... more

First the HardRock is going through major renovations. I was there on August 5th - 6th and was awaken by major construction (we're talking Jack hammers and welding folks) at 5:00 AM both days. Unbelieveable. The group I was traveling with all were awakened and we all looked tired in our meetings. The Hotel is a little run down so... more

A couple of problems at the Hard Rock. First, they are doing construction, so I asked for a room not affected by that. I received a poolside room. However, the night I arrived, there was a concert at the pool and I heard the whole thing in my room. If you want to go to sleep early on pool concert... more

Went with co-workers to the Hard Rock on Monday July 7th for a one night stay. I will think twice before I stay here again. This was my third time staying here and I am amazed at how run down it is looking. I was on the 9th floor and couldn't believe how dirty the carpet in the hallway was.... more

I spend about 6 weeks per year in Las Vegas for business. I've stayed at many different hotels from Hampton inn to Mirage to Bally's to the Palms. During past trips, I've visited the Hard Rock, and I've always wanted to stay there. So when the opportunity arose, I jumped on it. My 60-year old mother decided to make the... more

We stayed at the Hard Rock for a bachelorette party trip. We reserved adjoining rooms. We get up to our rooms and they are not adjoining. The front desk said to our faces that there were. We complained, then they said well there are no more rooms even next to each other. Nice, why did they lie to our faces?... more

With its horrendous service and 'taxi ride' exile away from the main Vegas strip, it's a wonder the Hard Rock hasn't already collapsed under the weight of it's own pretentiousness. It was hard to figure out which was worse: the hotel staff, who can barely see the customer down the length of their own noses, or the hotel's typical, [--]... more

We stayed at the Hard Rock for four nights in June 2008. My husband and I were in Vegas for a trade show/conference for his work and the choice of hotel was not ours. A company that his does business with chose it and booked a large block of rooms. My husband and I would like to return to Vegas... more

Prior to my arrival, I was excited to stay at the Hard Rock. That feeling of excitement turned to frustration as soon as I walked through the doors. Front desk staff was surly at best. I found the room to be a bit small by Vegas standards. The decor in the room, casino, and common areas is tired and outdated.... more
