The Grand Jersey as this hotel is now called has undergone a major refurbishment and so the interiors are quite modern. The rooms are fresh yet its difficult to understand why nothing has been done about the lift which looks and feels very dated. The sheer mixture of reviews on here suggest that the Grand is great or poor and not much in between. The hotel is in the middle of a huge refurb, having the rooms and the public areas upgraded.
