Seriously, this place is missing a lot.First off, I asked the night counter person for an ice bucket and was told he had no access to the housekeeping storage room so could not get one. However, when I came down the next night and asked a different night counter worker, it was no problem. Secondly, there were dark hairs on the... more

When I got a hotwire deal for this hotel, and read the largely negative reviews, I was distinctly worried. But I, along with my husband and son, had a good experience. The place has no frills. But the staff is helpful, the place was very clean, the room was cleaned much better than the Hilton across the street where I... more

My family and I stayed at the Ramada last night after booking the room through hotwire. The hotel is older, and the rooms are dingy looking. There were pretzel sticks on the floor between the beds when we walked in...and it was a little stuffy. The bathroom was clean, and the shower was the best part of the entire room.... more

Won't use hotwire again. after tax we paid $130 here or a 'deal', we were hoping for something more like the DoubleTree, Hilton etc. which were a block away. The staff was excellent! (however a little snafu at check in when the nice desk clerk gave us a room that someone was already in and when we entered the room... more

My business partner and I stayed here in two seperate rooms on the sixth floor. The rooms have NO WAY to control the heat and cooling even though there is a thermostat in the room. I was told by the manager John that they have to adjust the valves and they could not make heat and cooling work at the... more

First, I want to say Scott at the front dest was outstanding. When my son and I stayed there he guided us to various areas (including areas we should avoid) and recommended some great eating establishments!! Thank you! The hotel is old and dated. You will be on the edge of a rougher area in contrast to other hotels closer... more

I stayed here for 2 days with son. I would not advise staying here. The price was ok, and good location (very close/walking distance to mall, and Museum.) The free parking was nice. Service was terrible (phoned for extra blanket did not rec'v). Room none too clean. My camera went missing from the room. Phoned the housekeeping supervisor and hotel... more

Ownership response to: “Would Not Recommend” review. Both the Room Attendant and Donna, the Housekeeping Manager searched the room as soon as they were contacted by the guest and could not find the camera. Donna, the Housekeeping Manager, told the guest at this point, “That she would call the guest back if anything turned up later”. The guest called and...

If you'e looking for a reasonably priced place to crash after a night out on the town or after a Bucks/Brewers/Marquette game this is an ideal place. Nothing that's going to blow you away but nothing that's going to disgust you either-2.5 stars is about right. And when you factor the price, free parking and location it gets a bump.... more

I stayed at the property for business and let me tell you this is the worst place that I have stayed at all year. The rooms were dirty and had cigarette burns in the chairs. The "Air Conditioning" would work for a little while and then start pumping out heat for some reason. Every morning there would be a car... more

Stayed here with teenagers in April 2006 for a national competition. The other coach booked these rooms because of the excellent prices and close proximity to the competition site (whose hotel was out of our budget). The hotel itself is safe and convenient, if perhaps a little dingy. There was a biker convention in the hotel at the same time... more
