We enjoyed the overall experience with this resort. Our room was in need of updating, and very small. The bathroom was a big disappointment as it was not bigger than a small closet. The views were nice, and the bed was very comfortable. The restaurants were spendy but the food was good. The pool was crowded but not uncomfortable. The... more

We stayed at the Hyatt in Maui for 4 days and loved every minute of it. We had a great room w/ a great view. The pool was great and the water slide was awsome. The staff of the Hyatt were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Only down side was the $20.00 a day valet parking fee. Should have been included... more

Absolutely the most beautiful hotel grounds we have ever seen. We never even got in the ocean because we didn't want to leave the beautiful pool area. This is the only hotel we will ever stay at in Maui for now on! Concierge was extremely helpful and informative. Hotel staff went over and above to insure our comfort. Worth every... more

My wife and I spent 4 weeks in Hawaii in February 2008. We went from Four Seasons Manele Bay Lanai to the the Hapuna Beach Prince on the Big Island to the Hyatt Regency Maui and then to the Grand Hyatt Kauai. We spent 7 nights at the Hyatt Regency Maui. It was our 7th visit to Maui and Hawaii.... more

Awesome hotel, meeting and exceeding expectations in every way. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency in Aruba, and liked that so much, that we decided to try the Hyatt Regency in maui. It did not disappoint - this hotel is better than the one in Aruba because it is newer (although I hear the Aruba one recently underwent renovations). The... more

Great hotel for kids and adults too. We enjoyed the water slide as much as kids. The pool seemed to be one of the largest and best in that area of Lahaina. The room we had was an excellent partial ocean view, very clean. The live music was excellent during our stay. We were there during a time they had... more

Just got back from Hyatt and had a great time. The rooms showed a little age but not bad. The pool area was great. It wasn't very crowded when we were there, but they have lots of chairs out so it could get crowded pretty quick. The pool is great, it was a big hit for my kids although my... more

The property is really big with a nice jungle like lobby. It had live talking parrots everywhere, some penguins, flamingos and African cranes, which was really cool to watch. The hotel for a honeymoon isn't the greatest place. The rooms are small and we didn't have a great view from our balcony. We asked to upgrade but the staff wasn't... more

We just came back from a beautiful 2 weeks in Hawaii staying for part of our trip in Kaanapali at the Hyatt. We chose this hotel because we remembered it fondly from 14 years ago when we stayed for our honeymoon and knew they had a great pool area for our children that would not be too deep everywhere. There... more
