We are enjoying our stay at the Westin. The hotel rooms are well appointed and the grounds of the resort are also wonderfully laid out. Ka'anapali Beach is a wonderful beach to go on a half an hour walk on in the morning and their is surfing/snorkeling/diving off the beach depending on the water conditions. The pools here are also... more

The rooms are smaller than other Westin that I've been too and the noise level is outrageous since the guests were mainly family. Other than the convenient location I would not recommend this location for Honeymooners. Honeymooners should stay at the Sheraton instead. Westin breakfast buffet was okay compared to Sheraton but one plus is that you can sit at... more

Starting off with the pros: The Westin Maui is located on one of the best beaches in the State. Ocean view rooms have great views of Ka'anapli Beach, Lana`i, and Moloka`i. The pool is expansive, has a great waterslide, and great poolside food/alcohol service. The rooms are nicely appointed, albeit, some rooms still are "dirty" based on our conversations with... more

The Westin Maui Resort had some very great features. It was on Lahaina Beach, which you could swim in. The pools and water playground were awesome.....if you have kids - it's even better. It was next to multiple shopping centers and restaurants. You could just walk out and have what many others would have to drive for. PAC SUN, Coach,... more

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Maui the week leading up to Memorial Day. The hotel was apparently overbooked when we checked in, so we got upgraded from a Garden View to an Ocean View room, but unfortunately there were 2 full-size beds in the room we got which was a bit disappointing since we'd originally booked a... more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Westin. I know some reviewers have said that they've encountered a lot of children. We didn't find that to be the case. Perhaps it's because school was still in session? The grounds are gorgeous. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The pools are fabulous, so are the walking path and the beach.... more

We stayed at the Westin Maui for 6 nights during our honeymoon trip to Hawaii. It truly is a gorgeous resort!! We spent our days lounging around the beautiful pools, reading and drinking cocktails. Oh, and eating the delicious spicy chicken wings by the pool. Everything about this hotel is amazing. The beautiful lobby, the flamingoes, the perfect location, right... more

Our first stay with the Westin Maui was a year and a half ago on an offer we received from Starwood for $750 for 5 nights+free rental car and $100 resort voucher. How could we pass that up? We loved it so much that we had to return and decided to stay there for 3 nights on a 6 night... more

My wife and I spent three nights on Maui as part of an island-hopping honeymoon. As a Platinum guest with Starwood, we were upgraded to the Imperial Suite (room 1188) which is quite possibly one of the nicest rooms I have ever spent the night. The suite had seven balconies which opened to the ocean and pool. The view was... more
