This hotel is not what I expected from a 4 star hotel. My main issue was that there was only one gift shop and two restaurants for the whole hotel in one location. This hotel is massive and sprawling. We had to take no less than 4 different elevators and a set of stairs and breezeways just to get from... more

The Sheraton was actually quite a disappointment for us. We reserved a deluxe oceanview room for 8 nights and were placed in a room in building 6 that did, in fact, have views of Lanai and the ocean, but since we were only on the 2nd floor half of the view was of a green chain link fence over the... more

Had a girls week on Maui ... how fabulous! Great location, great service and the daily activities the hotel provides were amazing, only trumped by the daily sunsets. Walked over to Westin Maui for a spa afternoon, another must do! We are definintely returning. more

I am writing my review from building 6 right now (June 24th, 2008). I must be honest in voicing my disappointment. If it has renovated you just can't tell. Cobwebs in our bathroom corners and a rubber tub mat that is moldy on the bottom. It just seems very dated. When we arrived NO ONE greeted us in any way... more

great location and grounds, probably the best beach on this end of the Island. However beware of where the give you a room. Buildings 1 &2 are renovated and great. Buildings 3 & 4 are old and building 4 is undergoing renovations on the first couple of floors now. Stay away from building 6 unless all you want is a... more

Used the reviews from this website to pick this hotel, so figured I should give feedback. We were there for only three nights, wish it could have been more. We were there for our 15th wedding anniversary and because we checked in late were put in a room with 2 double beds. Tried to work it out and the front... more

Just got back from the Sheraton Maui. Great, but don't pay the price for dinner at Blackrock steak and seafood. Very average food at very high prices. Also the gazebo rental is weak no services provided. No fruit or water offered. Other than that great location, great grounds, great service. Especially the vallet and bell staff. Can't wait to return,... more

We just returned from a 7-night stay at the Sheraton, and absolutely loved it, for the following reasons (in no particular order): 1. Room and View: Had ocean view room in bldg 3 (not deluxe ocean view or ocean front), close to everything plus loved the view the best because you see beautiful grass and palm trees, pool, beach, ocean.... more

Our family of 4 arrived for a 9 day stay on a Thursday.... We received an upgrade from a garden view and got our friends, who were arriving 2 days later, an upgrade in the same building. We received a deluxe ocean view in building 5 (room 5101). We loved everything about our room and felt like we had the... more

Stayed at the Sheraton Maui in June of 2008 for 5 nights for our honeymoon. We had an "ocean front" room and we loved it. The Sheraton definitely has the best beach location on Kaanapali. Venturing further south, you'll realize that the other resorts have barely any beach at all. We walked (and jogged) several times as far south as... more
