Great location in the heart of town. Destinations to the east (Faneul Hall) and West (Fenway) are a 15-20 minute walk. Staff was excellent... all very polite and the concierge's were very good about giving out directions. The rooms are a little smallish, and the beds are very uncomfortable. But everything was clean. I can't complain, since I got the... more

I agree with most of what's been said here, this is not as nice as many of the big-city Marriotts we've stayed in. Ugly lobby, one lone check-in person moving at a snail's pace (it was 9:30 pm), no one to greet us or help with bags, dirty elevator, scratched front doors, etc., etc. It does not feel like a... more

I was hoping that I would be able to enjoy my time at the Marriott however, after we attended our Women of Faith conference at the Garden we were looking forward to getting some rest after our long day and knowing that we had a long day on Saturday. When we came back to the hotel my sister got into... more

We just returned from Boston, a first-time visit for teen-aged son. We stay 3 nights at The Marriott Copley Place, and overall had a decent experience. The staff was inconsistent; one Concierge was very knowledgeable, and another was borderline rude and gave inaccurate directions. One bedroom was nice, but small. No refrigerator, mini-bar, etc. Room was clean, but had to... more

On a recent visit to Boston, I stayed at the Marriott Copley. The view from the 35th floor was awesome. It is very well located in the middle of the shopping area and close to several metro stops. Even though this is a commercial hotel, it is very well maintained and a very comfortable place to stay. Everyone was very... more

We were in Boston for just 2 nights, capping off a wonderful trip to Maine. Hotel is clean and looks nice, but the beds were terribly uncomfortable (much too soft), and the rooms are quite small. They assured us we could put in a cot for our 3rd child, but it was a feat to rearrange the furniture and make... more

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful 3-night getaway in Boston, from July 17 to July 20. We loved the City of Boston itself, but our stay was enriched by our great experience at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. Central location in the Back Bay area of Boston, easily accessible via subway, cab, walking, lots of shopping &... more

My family of five stayed at the Marriott Copley Place on July 4, 2008. We had made reservations months in advance and had been promised a room with a view of the Charles River and 4th of July fireworks. When we arrived mid-afternoon our room was not ready, and reception staff were not friendly. We did not get into our... more

My husband and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and to attend a Red Sox game (my present to him). The hotel is in a great location and love the old style on the outside, but inside is all updated. You can walk everywhere, Newbury St., Fenway Park, Boston Public gardens etc. The rate... more

My wife, daughter and I stayed at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel for five nights the first week of July. My daughter was in a dance competition at the nearby Hynes Center and our nightly rate was a very reasonable $199 a night. The hotel is centrally located which allowed us to walk to a number of sights and... more
