Was in NY for two nights for business earlier this year. Wanted a good value near battery park. Embassy suites turned out to be a really good find. My only complaint that the location of my room in particular didn't lend itself to very good insulation of the room and I found the middle of the night a bit cold.... more

Finding a quiet room in Manhattan can be difficult, since it's a busy city. However, tucked away off a quiet street across from the river, you'll find the Embassy Suites. Coming from NJ, I could easily take the train and be home within an hour. I prefer to stay at Embassy, since it's clean, quiet, and spacious. The manager's reception... more

We loved our stay. We arrive and the bellman was right there to help us with luggage (we had a lot). Service was excellent. I asked if we could have a room with a view and they upgraded us. What would normally be an extra charge they waived. The breakfast was very good. A little crowded but the selections were... more

This is the second time I've stayed in this hotel in the last few years and the quality and service is very consistent! The rooms are very clean and spacious! The breakfast and nightly free drinks at the manager's reception is a HUGE plus!! I definitely recommend for anyone looking for exceptional value, great space and nice and clean rooms!! more

After reading several reviews (over 50) for places to stay in NYC, I was happy to see this one so highly rated. I took a chance and booked a room - first time in NYC. I just stayed there (June 7th). My flight was long and the taxi ride from the airport exhausting, so it was refreshing to be greeted... more

This Embassy Suites hotel is a great value for the money when staying at New York City. Although the room rates are higher than they were when we stayed in 2003, it still can be a bargain since the price of hotels in the city has really gone up as a whole. The hotel is located in the upscale Battery... more

This was probably one of the best, if not THE best, hotels I have ever stayed in. The view of the Hudson is wonderful. The hotel is in walking distance of Battery Park and just over the river, you can see the Statue of Liberty...she is small...but you can see her. Ground Zero was the view we had from our... more

My buddies and I did a quick weekend in NYC and stayed here. Modern hotel, with nice furnishings. Perfect for 3 guys, since two got beds and the third got the pullout couch. Unlike some other reviewers, we didn't really notice any noise from adjoining rooms. The breakfast area gets a little crowded in the morning, but you can get... more

We stayed at the Embassy Suites for just one night on a quick trip to see the Yankees play. We booked through JetBlue vacations and were very happy with the results. The hotel was located in an outstanding location when you have just two days in the city. I'd say 100 yards from the World Trade Center Site and it... more

Great value ,Great service, great space! We stayed in a superior suite which cost us about £800 for a family of 4 for 6 nights. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and kept immaculately clean. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff without exception. Great included breakfast (could be a bit of a scrum at peak times but the... more
