I need to comment on our recent hotel stay at the Tremont Park Hotel in Baltimore. My first comment is I would immediately stop recommending this hotel. First of all it is old and dated and in terrible condition. The sinks were coming off the walls. The bed linens were old and some were ripped. The a/c was not working.... more

Don't take the elevator or a shower (the hot water flow is unpredictable). Beware of the $20/night charge for parking. The fitness center is small but surprisingly updated. The first room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke even though we were told it was a No Smoking Room. The housekeeping was poor, dirt under furniture, etc. The general upkeep of the place was poor. This hotel was a beat down. The elevator takes about 8 days for just the door to close and then another 8 to get to whatever floor you're going to be on.
