We stayed here for 8 nights, and had a wonderful time. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were very clean, and serviced daily. Our room had a King Size Bed, Iron, Ironing Board, Hairdryer and Coffee Machine.........No kettle though, so if you prefer a cup of tea in the morning then take a heating element or kettle along.... more

Stayed at Ohana Malia on Kuhio Ave for our last night, $99 rate. Previous to this, we were at the Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber on Kalakaua for 3 nights/$129. Friendly and proffessional staff. Stale old rooms, 70's decor, very dated and in need of and update. For the rate it was decent and clean...comfort wise, I preferred the Beachcomber. Liked the... more

My family of five stayed at the Waikiki Malia for a soccer tournament. We requested a crib for our infant and to have a room near the laundry room because I was planning on washing soccer uniforms every night. Both requests were fufilled. Another plus was that we were located near an ice machine which is very convenient for us... more

I didn't think this hotel would be that good because of all the negative reviews that it received but in reality, this hotel is great! It is an older building and the furniture is olden, but its still clean and very cozy. We stayed in the building that had 8 floors, not the 1000 unit one and it was very... more

My husband and I checked in here as a short stopover between our flight from the Big Island and international flight home. We'd stayed at another hotel in Waikiki earlier in our trip, but they were full up on the night in question so we figured that as it was only going to be one night this place would be... more

I can't say anything was really nice about this Hotel. The rooms are dark and very old, they are not at all sound proof and the road noise is extremely loud. The lifts are very old and quite scary. There is no swimming pool and no internet connection in the rooms, you have to go to the lobby to connect.... more

Very poor Hotel by Waikiki standards. Given that this is a very popular holiday location I was expecting a much better hotel experience. Firstly it was hard to find, I hired a car to get around and drove past the hotel a number of times before I found the entrance. I had to squeeze the car into the very small... more

We booked a package from Australia and only had a choice of 3 hotels in Waikiki - I chose this one because it was out of the main beach area - which from previous visits I knew was very busy. To be honest after reading the reviews here I was dreading it - people had mentioned stains, dirty carpets and... more

We booked this hotel through United Vacations. We travel to Hawaii nearly every year. This was the first time we have stayed at this hotel, though we have stayed at an Ohana brand hotel before. Our room--1516--had lots of problems. The air conditioner in that room is about to die, as evidenced by the constant loud rattle of the fan.... more
