The place is beautiful, and clean next to the rest of the town, but kind of overpriced. Do not get the "ocean view" room. You have no privacy and a light shines in at night. We stayed in the newer section of Villa Celeste for 10 days in February 2008. The room was comfortable and clean, the kitchen well equipped, the property very well maintained and pretty. Villa Celeste is definitely the best place to stay in the wonderful, slow paced Mexican beach town of Chacala. The town is not overrun with tourists.
