Yucca Valley is not known for its cuisine, but Stefano's would stand out even in the crowded market of home town of Los Angeles. It's easy to miss, and doesn't look like much from the outside, but the joyful "Bona sera!" you hear from the affable, gentlemanly Stefano the moment you walk in the door lets you know you're in... more

This was another example of searching TripAdvisor before a trip that was time well spent--Stefano's was a great find! We enjoyed a very nice authentic Italian meal with the fettucini alfredo getting top marks from my youngest daughter and her grandpa, two very discrimating eaters who know thier pasta. Being locals, Stefano's is our favorite restaurant for more than 12 years. The food is outstanding and I have tried just about everything on the menu. Give the "home made" antipasto sampler a try (7 or 8 different items), four specials every night, the house "Paisano" red wine is a treat, the deserts are to die for and the "Cappuccino"... more

After hiking Joshua Tree national park, we passed an unobtrusive Italian Ristorante in Yucca named Stefanos. It may have looked like fast food from the outside, but the inside was quite cozy and charming in a very casual way. The four of us all ordered different items. I tasted every dish and couldn't believe that none of them were mediocre.... more
