The Vortex has a no-frills wait staff and good, inexpensive food. Service is always prompt and friendly, and they have a fantastic selection of burgers. If you don't want beef, you can try turkey, bison, or vegetarian options. I can't vouch for anything but the burgers there, because that's all I ever order. Give them a try--they're good. more

The widest variety of burgers and toppings I've experienced anywhere. My favorite is the 'Great Big Jerk' burger made with a Bison patty! Sides are good too: tots, sweet potato fries, etc. Prices are reasonable, not cheap, but not crazy overpirced for a burger either.
