Was just about to book my Virgin flight for Sept 15th(408 pounds) and thougt i'd have a quick look at a few others.

AA have flghts for 377 and BA are the same.

I've flown Virgin loads of times and find them ok, nothing great and was wondering if anyone had flown AA recently in the 777 ? and if so what did you think about leg room and entertainment?

Seatguru says that some seats have power which would be a clincher for me so I can use the laptop to watch what I want.

Anyone got any advice

If you think Virgin is nothing special, I think you'll be disappointed by AA. Virgin's entertainment is far superior to AA's. I've never paid attention to seats having power because I've never traveled with my laptop, but my flights on Virgin have definitely been more enjoyable than those with AA.

On several TA forums, AA is slated.

Stick with Virgin.

Hi ads

I never thought you would leave the Orlando forum.lol

The best i have found for flying to LA are Air New Zealand but i think you will find them a bit more expensive. We have also flown with BA and they where fine, but if you have never flown on the 777 then i would give that option a go because its a lovely aircraft to fly on.

hi mikeuk

yes I've moved to the west side, well for now anyway !lol

As I said before the entertainment is not that important if the seat has power. We flew US to Orlando at christmas and I have to say they were miles better than virgin (even with the stop over) and they had seat power so I just spent the 9 hours watching films I wanted to watch and played a few games which was great + there seemed more leg room. I've been looking at seatguru and they say that seats 20 to 28 have power. I have the adapter so I just wanted to know if anyone could confirm what seat guru say. It says that there is an extra inch to virgin in both leg room and width of seat and lets face it we'd all like an extra inch !!

I agree with Mike. We always try to be on board a 777. Next year to Australia all by 777. Our flights to the USA mostly were 767 (international) and 737 (domestic) with United. No complaints about United.
