Excellent basic hotel

My wife, sister in law and myself hasd a great stay here. The hotel staff are fantastic and very helpfull from the front desk to the valet parking guy (good price too!). The location is great for walking in to the shopping and old parts of Montreal. The roosm themselves were fine, nothing outstanding but as a courtyard hotel that what we expected so no complaints. for the price we payed it was an amazing deal.

Great location, near metro

We took our kids to Montreal ages 5 and 9 for the first time and found plenty to do with them. We hit the Biodome, Olympic Park, and Mount Royal (absolutely beautiful view from the chalet)and a great breakfast place around the corner. This hotel made it convenient to the metro, food, and entertainment.

Good place to stay

Overall, the hotel was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean and the price was reasonable. Room is located conveniently. Restaurant had decent food and did not gouge the the traveler. My suggestions to the hotel are as follows: 1. 1 or 2 of the concierges did not give good advice. 2. Could use 1 more computer room to check email. The one room was always busy. 3. 1 concierge gave us a lousy recommendation for a chinese restaurant--way to expensive and not what we asked for. 4, Didn’t like the fact that they wanted to discount U.S. money by 10% when exchanging funds.

Will not return

It was my first time in Canada and I went with what I thought would be a sure bet. It was not up to par with Courtyards in USA. Although they were extremely courtious and helpful I think I will stay at another hotel when I return to Montreal. rated only three stars and thats all it is.

Nice hotel, great location

The hotel was great, staff friendly and the location was perfect. We walked everywhere, and anything you would desire from sushi to shopping was easily accessable. We enjoyed seeing fireworks from our hotel room on the 22nd floor on saturday night. The only complaint I would have was that the air conditioner was very noisy, but since I don’t mind "white noise", we weren’t bothered, but others may find this as a concern

In Montreal look for Courtyard Marriott

The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of major attractions. Employees are friendly, bilingual, eager to help and professional. Reasonally priced.

No need to take a cab to see several museams. Walk up to the Mount Royal for a majestic view of the city. Come back refreshed after burning 100’s of calories and have a lunch at street cafes around the hotel. If you can not visit Schwarz’s for the best beef in Monntreal, go to Ruebens on St Catharins.

No Complaints

It was my first time in Montreal, and the staff was helpful and courteous. The room was similar to just about any courtyard that I’ve stayed in. The location was great, able to walk to many places on Saint-Catherine and Cresent, a short ride from bus and train stations. I enjoyed my stay.

good location

the hotel’s location is excellent. front desk and over all look is chabby, needs a face lift. service is good though there is no in-room ini bar nor a safty box. the rooms are spacious and clean, but that AC was just too old and too loud. over all the hotel is o.k but not value of money.

Hotel is conveniently located near metro, shopping and dining - best suited for day outings. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. No complimentary breakfast. No mini-bar.

Good Hotel

The hotel stay was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel was also well kept and had a great location.

Nothing Spectacular

I was actually a bit disappointed. The room was very plain and seemed to be really outdated. Had a heater that was very old and loud, it also made the air really dry. And the shower had very weird water pressure, sometimes good but for the most part pretty low. Took me forever to get the shampoo out of my hair. The TV only had a very limited amount of channels... There’s no room service for breakfast. One thing that I found kind of strange, and maybe this is just because I’m so used to hotels in the US, was that there was no ramp like entrance... I had a laptop in a wheeled laptop case, and I had to continually lift it up everytime I got to a door or wanted to go to the elevator... kind of a pain, especially if the bad is heavy. Other than that, the service I received was pretty good. The checkout was super speedy since I didn’t have any charges to my room. And for the most part, the staff was very nice.
