Much Better than I Expected

After reading the reviews for this hotel, I was expecting a bad experience. Instead, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. When the alarm clock turned out to be broken, the front desk gave me a replacement right away. The hotel is within easy walking distance (15 minutes) of both the Anaheim Convention Center and Disneyland. Since the hotel is on a side street, the room was quiet at night. I’d certainly stay there again.

One of the Worst Rooms Ever

The air conditioning in the room did not work. The room had a strong smell of ammonia/cleaner. The room was equipt with a handicap toilet, sink, and shower which was not not request and found to be difficult to use as non-handicap.

DONT EAVEAN THINK ABOUT IT

My family and I where received with not that friendly manner by the receptionist,ok I said may be better, so we got into the room and smell bad oriental food, I was in a vacation mode and I didnt want to argue so a let it go, but when we got back from our 2 day stay we found out that the room was not cleaned,I try to get help and the night guy does not understand English, next day I tray to contact the manager and the receptionist told me that she will be back on Monday so no fix to the problem, hope this will warned people to avoid this hotel or good luck in your stay.

not impressed

We were supposed to be in a non smoking room but it stunk of smoke which caused me and my children a sleepless night. You could smell the smoke the minute you stepped off the elevator. We did not get fresh towels. The sheets were rough. Good thing we didn’t stay long.

Desperately needs to change mattresses and furniture!!!

We knew what kind of cleaning (or lack of) service to expect going to an Extended Stay, which is fine but expect to have clean accomodations. The fabric on the couch was extremely dirty (would not let anyone in my family sit on it) and the mattress on the bed was filthy. The fitted sheet did not cover the mattress so it was exposed (I took photos but don’t see a place where I can attach them). The mattress was torn and soiled - we are talking STAINED! I notified the front desk but am not convinced they were concerned. There is no way person that made up the bed could have missed what I saw unless they were sight challenged. I cannot describe the initial smell of the room(not good) but I thankfully had a can of Lysol and bathroom spray. We were charged tax on our Disney shuttle tickets which I thought was strange because we were not charged tax at a different hotel that we stayed at earlier in the week. My family did enjoy the pool. I was extremely disappointed as I have previously stayed in this chain. I can only say that I hope my experience is an isolated event.

Not impressed

We checked in and were sent to a room with one bed for 3 people because we were booked in a smoking room. The room was filthy the trash was not emptied from the previous tenants, it leaked all over the floor and made it sticky and the dishes were dirty but there was no dish washing liquid to wash them. Then it took 3 hours to get a roll away bed. We were told that all we needed to do in order to ride the shuttle to Disneyland was meet it at the curb but when we did that we were turned away because we needed a pass in order to ride. We called to confirm check out time and could not get anyone on the phone that spoke English.

Only use this hotel if you are not planning on being in the room other than sleeping or if it is necessary to have a kitchen. Make sure to bring all toiletries and dish soap because neither of these are provided.

Great for those on a budget

The hotel is best if you’re on a tight budget and need a mini-home away from home. It is comfortable, but the carpet was stained and it was obvious that pets (smell) had been in the rooms. For the money, it is a good bargain, but don’t expect too many services.

Don’t stay here!

First off the desk clerk was not rude. The key card that I was given didn’t work on the side doors were my car was parked and my room was. Once in my room the beds were hard and very unconfortable. The sheets were clean, but were old and dingy. The pillows were flat and there was no extra pillow or blanket to be found. In the bathroom, the towels were clean, but also old and dingy and only one small bar of soap. In the kitchenette there was only decaff coffee. Lastly there was no closet in the room. Only a bar, by the window with some shelves under it.

WILL GO BACK BUT FEW SUGESTIONS

We enjoyed our stay but was disapointed there was no hairdryerin the room just about everyone has them in there hotel these days. so we were a mess,but i guess we should have asked or just brought one also, only 1 cup and 1/2 roll of toilet paper we had to ask for the tp right off the bat. klenex wasen’t available either, it wouldn’t take much to just put a few extra items in the room but we definately will go back. also only one elevator worked and one door into the hotel was broken. but nice place and handy.

Will not be extending my stay anytime soon at the Extended Stay

First off the room was blazing hot when we first go in. The bed was straight out of the Flintstones and the pillows were about an inch thick. No maid service, so towels needed to be replaced by you at the front desk, but that was only if they had towels to replace them with. Couldn’t get any extra pillows until after 11:30 PM when the night janitor came in. There were no shampoos, conditioners, or lotions in the room. The TV remote worked occassionally but never when you wanted to turn the TV off to go to sleep. There was a dirty tampon in the stairway well for an entire day and a half. The Disney shuttle was also not included in the Hotel accomodations. Will not be going back in the future.

Disneyland is always a great Family vacation!

Traveler's tip on recreational activities

Stay in this hotel if you want to cook your own food, looking for a low cost hotel, and of course near to Disneyland just at 15 mins walkable distance from disneyland, Anaheim, Front Desk personals are really good at helping the guests

Excellent service

Receptionist checked-in us early since the room was ready and we want to go to Disney land early. Simple kitchen with microwave/toaster helped us to make some vegetarians food for the kids, especially after eating junk food for couple of days. (No breakfast available) Good place for the price

Since Disney land is walkable, don’t try to take the car to park closer just to avoid making kids walk when you return. Even if you drive, you may have to park the car far away from the entrance, which could be longer than the Hotel parking. One could use the 15min parking facility at the entrace of Disney land to pick up the family.
