We stayed at The Reefs from June 13 - 20, 2008 to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and our 50th Birthday. My husband and I had been to Bermuda for our honeymoon and thought it would be wonderful to return for our special anniversary. The Reefs is a beautiful, wonderful place. It is clean, very accomodating, the service is excellent and the food was delicious. Everyone from the housekeeping, beach staff,waiters, waitresses, front desk was so very kind, friendly and could not do enough to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The facility is beautiful and immaculately kept. We would return in a heartbeat. I found it fascinating that so many people that were at the Reefs had been there so many times prior. That says alot about the wonderful times that everyone seems to have when they come and stay at the Reefs. I was so sad to leave, but certainly plan on coming back..Keep up the wonderful work. This was our second visit...it was better than last time. The service is exquisite. The staff is very attentive and anticipated our every need. The property is beautiful and the location breathtaking. The food is wonderful; dining at The Reefs is a pleasure. We felt perfectly at ease and look forward to returning soon!

A trip to remember... it was our 50th Wedding Anniverary, and our 2nd visit to "the Reefs", our 3rd to Bermuda. Although there was construction to add Time Share Condos, we were not disturbed by the construction. I believe the workers were using rubber hammers so as not to disturb the guests.
Then noticeable attribute of the Reefs, is that it is immaculate wherever you go on the grounds. Also, the employees are all Bermudians which we find was friendly and warm and absent in other Hotels, which we tried in our Dine Around.
By the middle of our stay, they all remembered our names and anxious to do whatever they could to make our stay pleasant.
As a businesssman, this kind of help is hard to find.
Looking forward to our nest stay... we are booked for the same time next year. Can't wait.

We were so stunned with the beauty of the property. We had a premium ocean view room. The view was amazing! Room furnishings were very nice.

First suggestion - the bath room could be updated, which I am sure will probably be done soon. No issues with the bathroom, it was just should be up to par with the rest of the facilities.

We slept with our sliding glass door open, so we could drift to sleep hearing the waves crash and wake up to the sound of the waves crashing - VERY relaxing. On our last full day, I awoke to kids screaming on the beach.

Second suggestion - The Reefs is SO romantic. To me, it is meant for honeymooners, couples, etc. It is so popular for couples looking to relax and get away, that I recommend they don't allow young kids. Although young kids are discouraged at dining late at the restaurant, we were graced by this bratty little girl at Coconuts (the restaurant). Our dinner reservations were at 9 pm!!!

Best part is I got engaged on my birthday! We were the only couple dining on the sand that night when my boyfriend asked me to marry him!

In closing, the best way to ensure that people are truly getting "swept away" by the beauty of the property and the natural beauty of Bermuda would be to not allow kids under the age of 16.

I will probably return and maybe do my wedding/honeymoon at the Reefs... Only reservation is the kids staying on the property. I may choose Little Palm Island, in the Florida Keys over the Reefs just due to their policy on kids.

Just something that the Reefs should consider. They have an amazing niche – to give a memorable relaxing experience. Sorry… Most of the time that concept just excludes kids.
