we stayed at the Abacot Hall for our 10th anniversary. We purchased the package they offer which includes a Sunday night stay, dinner at the Stone Road Grill (excellent food) 2 tickets to a fabulous Shaw festival musical and breakfast the next morning at the BB prepared by Mike our fantastic chef/host at Abacot Hall. We had a wonderful time and this is a great package. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a luxury night without the high end price. Pauline and Mike make you feel welcomed and special. They are lovely hosts and we will go back for another Sunday night package deal before the theatre season ends in the fall.

We stayed at Abacot Hall for our 4 year anniversary and had a wonderful time. Here are some of the highlights:

- As soon a we got in, Pauline made us feel right at home, gave us any choice of rooms and quickly helped orient us in terms of where we were, what to do, where to eat, wineries etc.

- Breakfast was fun and lively. Shared lots of stories with Mike and Pauline - those two have done quite a bit of traveling around the world and really enjoyed their stories from South America. Make sure you ask them about their Darwin conquest.

- We had a nice card left on our pillow on our second night, congratulating us on our 4 year anniversary. The little things go a long way.

Overall hospitality was super and accommodations were perfect. The weather was a bit cooler, if not, I would have really enjoyed the rooftop balcony/patio they have.

Great time and we will definitely be back.

“Feel like family!!!!!!!”

Abacot Hall Bed & Breakfast

May 26, 2008

We are seasoned travelers and stayed in numerous hotels and bed and breakfast all over the world. During those travels my wife and I have never experienced the hospitality and courtesy shown by Pauline and Mike. They welcomed us into their home like we were family from the moment we arrived. We were traveling with our dog and he was embraced as well. By the end of our stay we were sharing photos of each others pets. The room was delightful, the breakfast was superb, and the service was top notch. I would definitely recommend Abacot Hall to anyone that wants to have a wonderful visit to Niagara without the stuffiness of other establishments. We will be back soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

“The Jewel in the Crown”

Abacot Hall Bed & Breakfast

May 14, 2008

Having stayed at many fine B & Bs in NOTL over the last 30 years we never expected to discover one that stood head and shoulders above the rest. Abacot Hall does just that. The first thing that impressed us on our arrival was the warm welcome extended by Pauline to each member of our party of 4. She made us all feel as if we were old friends reuniting after a long absence. Others have written lengthy reviews about the accommodations and array of amenities offered by this outstanding B & B so I will not repeat them here. Suffice to say that I agree entirely with those reviews. I do feel compelled, however, to add that Chef Mike possesses exceptional cuisinary skills. Having made our breakfast choices from a very varied and unique menu, Mike served up the most sumptuous breakfast we have ever had at any establishment in NOTL. Abacot Hall is a must for anyone wanting to experience the very best in B & Bs.

We really enjoyed our time here. Really well organised and well run place, good food and plenty of it. Beautifully appointed house, and great value. Our hosts were so friendly, with plenty of time for chat, and tips about enjoying the area. Highly recommended.
