Endorse fully everything said about the facilities, location and in particular the views. Very comfortable. Would also highlight that for us this was on the right side of the river as the sun was on the balcony all day - we noticed that those opposite were shady most of the afternoon. Probably only relevant in winter - indeed in the summer the shade may be a blessing - but it was gorgeous to be able to sit outside in November.

We stayed in the Suite Belvedere which is at a premium over others as it has the large double terrace on the 6th floor. Would say the extra cost was not really warranted as the room was longer and narrower than it appeared on the website and the bathroom disappointing and small compared to others photographed. The terrace was amazing however.........

We were married in Florence, Italy in September 2007 and chose the Lungarno Suites as our hotel for our time in Florence. It was amazing. The location is perfect, just steps from the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi. Our room was on the second floor with views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio.
The room was huge--like a small apartment. It had a bedroom with large closets, safe, and beautiful sliding doors to close it off to the rest of the suite. There was a living room, small dining area, kitchen, bath, and another closet! I believe that there were two TVs in the suite (one in bedroom and one in living room), but with the incredible view and all of Florence to explore, I don't think we used it once.
The kitchen was complete with everything you would need. There were plates, silverware, glasses, and even a dishwasher. Most people would not think that they needed this, but we hosted family in our room and served antipasta and wine we had gather at local delis and this dinnerware and place setting came in handy. There was even a dishwasher.
The staff were very professional and accomodating. They even surprised us with a bottle of wine and nice note of congratulations on our wedding day! They helped us find rental car locations and even worked with a parking garage to take the car when we were too late to return it to the rental car agency.
The entire experience was beyond our expectations! The hotel is wonderful. It was the perfect wedding and start to our honeymoon.

The Lungarno Suites are perfect for families. Our family of five was very comfortable in two bedrooms in a corner of the hotel which was closed off by a door, thereby according us the privacy to go to and from our bedrooms. Our kids had a beautiful view of the River and my husband loved the fact that, upon request, we received an apron and towel, spaghetti and sauce to make our own dinner!! Great momentos. The breakfast was very nice and be sure to visit Fiesole, a little suburb outside of florence, accessible by the no. 7 bus near the duomo. Also, a wonderful restaurant Il Latini is not to be missed.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Italy. One of the nicest hotels during our stay was Lungarno Suites in Florence. My husband and I traveled with our three daughters (8, 10 and 12). We were able to book one suite at Lungarno for all 5 of us, which is very difficult in Europe. The room was great, with two modern bathrooms and sliding doors separating the living/dining area from the bedroom. The sofa was a comfortable bed for two of our daughters. A very nice roll-away bed was brought in for our third daughrter. The staff was great, arranging in a advance for our pick-up upon arrival in Pisa by a car and driver. They also booked tickets for the Uffizi Gallery for us. I recommend this property highly. I would definitely stay there again, and will definitely try their new Portrait Suites in Rome.
