We depended on our GPS completely to drive around Italy, and had some difficulty finding this hotel in a congested neighborhood of a congested city. The reception office is located in a different building and street than our room, and there is no sign to indicate we'd finally found it. Parking is very secure with a key for the basement garage, as well as a key for the main door of the building and one for the apartment dead bolt lock. The neighborhood didn't feel safe at night, and street noise was loud. That said, the room itself was nice: clean and modern. We didn't use the kitchen except for the refrigerator. We would've liked a microwave instead of a dishwasher! The bathroom was very small, but all new and nicely decorated. It lacked a hairdryer. The beds were comfortable, and as we travel with earplugs we slept well. Highly recommend the cafe/patisserie across the street for breakfast. Excellent coffee and delicious pastries. The bus line runs right by the building, and the staff of the hotel was helpful with bus tickets and map.

Ok so its not in the centre, but the bus went into town was reliable frequent and quick, and went from right outside the apartments. It was actually a bit of a relief to come back there to eascape all the hussle of the centre of town. Theres a good patisserie just opposite for grabbing a coffee and croissant in the mornings.

The rooms are modern, spacious and clean and the check in staff helpful and efficient. Also there's a supermarket within walking distance so you can easily use the well equipped kitchen. I'd definitely stay again, but realise if its baroque romance and elegance you're after- this probably wont be for you...

The Quadra key was a very modern and clean hotel/apartment. In general you could not fault it, The no. 22 bus could be got outside the hotel straight into the centre of florence.

Had a great stay a Quadra Keys. Staff is very helpful. Location is outside of the tourist area but the bus #22 stops right in front of the hotel and it is only 10 minutes to downtown. A large grocery store is 200 meters away as is a hertz office and an atm is next door. I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, it had a fully furnished kitchen, large bathroom , and was clean. It also had a 25 foot balcony that had a wash tub and drying rack. This helped out on washing and drying my clothes for our long trip. I would highly recomend this hotel.
