Our family of four stayed in the apartments for three nights very recently..it was to be initially 2 nights but we were so happy with the accommodation and facilities that we extended for a further night. The apartments are spacious with a great little kitchen complete with oven, cooktop, dishwasher and full fridge (far superior to the facilities at our Tuscan villa). The staff were fantastic, very helpful on all levels and nothing was too much trouble from travel arrangements to restaurant recommendations . They were kind enough to open their reception earlier than usual to cater for our early departure and even offered us a coffee to start our day. We travelled by taxi to the city centre each day at a cost of around ten euros which represents fantastic value for the ease and convenience. At the end of the day (and it was hot) we easily hailed a cab and in ten minutes we were back in our air conditioned haven. The main road was hectic but we were not disturbed by any noise at night. Highly recommended, particularly for families and those seeking some opportunity for self catering .

We stayed at the quadra keys for one night only and booked it as it had free adsl (which is very slow) and free parking which is a bonus for florence as there is very little...and what there is can be expensive.

Anyway...the hotel....It is very modern and spacious and the parking is secure. The walls are a little on the thin side but all mod buildings in italy seem to be that way, and it was not really a bother.

It has sat LCD tv which is cool and a full kitchen (no washing facilities though which an apartment hotel really should have).
There is a bus right outside that takes you into the centre of florence in about ten minutes for 1.2 euros...very easy.. but you do have to spend all day in town with no break in the middle of the day for your feet.

It is a very comfotable experience though. Booked it on wotif and paid a lot less than regular price. Would i stay again? If i had a car and was here for only a very short time yes...but otherwise better to stay in something shabbier and be right in town.

We stayed at the Quadra Keys in May. The rooms are large and spacious. The addition of a kitchenette within the room is great and has been tastefully done. The bathroom was fine. The only criticism was the noise from the main road outside. It was constant and it often woke us at night. The staff are great and very helpful. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes by bus from the centre of town. The bus stop is directly outside the apartments and tickets can be obtained from the reception desk. I would recommend it but the owners may have to do something to the apartments to quieten the noise down.
