I can imagine not so long ago that the Clarence hotel was a superb three to four star rated holiday hotel in the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno. But today, its Victorian themed side is kept not by clever interior decor, but by the way its been left mostly untouched. Its elevator appears to be the original fitted at the turn of the 1900's and only has room for two people without luggage. The room we stayed in needed a good clean at the least. The window didnt close properly and fresh air was in free supply. Watch out that all bathrooms dont have showers. Also, car parking is on the road so its first come, first serve with the rest of the public and hotels. On the plus side, the hotel seemed to be family run and the breakfast was good. Thats it really.
