“New Year Trip”

Comfort Inn

1 of 5 stars
london
Apr 13, 2007

We booked this hotel through a travel agent, it was supposed to be close to Disneyland Paris, however that was at least a 40 minute drive. the hotel was very difficult to find even with our satellite navigation.
The room we were shown to was like a dormitory 3 single beds that would have done Snow Whites Dwarfs credit. There was little else in the room including windows (they were roof lights). In the middle of the night I fell through the slats in the bed and the mattresses were so thin you could have been sleeping on a blanket. also there were no pillowcases.
The bathroom was very large and cold, with no toilet seat,
I did complain about the room , but the only other they could give us was smaller and pokier. so we just stayed where we were.
When we had finished our days at Disney we went into Paris returning after midnight, the thought of spending the evening in the hotel was more than we could cope with.
As this was the new year period other hotels were by now fully booked,so we had no choice but stay,
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was passable.
The whole place had an air of neglect.I would not stay here again.EVER

“Would not stay here again if the room were free”

Booked this online thinking it would be comparable to US Comfort Inn. It was close to CDG and other reviews stated although the rooms were small, they were clean. I did not find this to be the case. The room was tiny, filthy, had no A/C and to top it off, they placed us on the fourth floor and there is no lift. The neighborhood is not good and it is difficult to locate. The only plus was the very courteous and helpful staff and the nearness of the RER (train). I would literally not stay here again if they gave me a room gratis.

“Cheap Room Near CDG But You Get What You Pay For”

Comfort Inn

1. Finding a 40 Euro room near CDG is nearly impossible. For this reason, this is a pretty good option. The airport is about a ten-fifteen minute drive. The restaurnt here is a good one, the rooms are clean, and the staff friendly.

2. BUT, this is a neighborhod in decline -- many housing projects nearby -- and the hotel itself is a bit declining. (It's small stuff -- the light by the bed doesn't work, the mattress is a bit mushy). The room is microscopic.

3. This place is not near the expressway and very, very, very hard to find. Only attempt if you have a rental car, and it is likely best that you not try to find the place at night. It's not that the neighborhood is dangerous -- it's just that you'll want the daylight to help find the place. Use Viamichelin or mapquest to locate the place bfore setting out. It is much farther off the autoroute than you would expect, and there are no signs on the route you must follow letting you know far it is to the Hotel or even if you are heading the right way.

“Good choice only if you have a car & tight budget”

We booked this hotel because it's cheap (40 Euros for double room) and we have a rental car. But this hotel is hard to find! We got lost and luckily for my limited French, a nice lady drew us a map to follow and finally found the hotel. Yes the room is small but since we booked a even smaller room in Bordeaux, we were OK with this one. Also, we were out most of the day anyway; so if you just want a clean place to sleep; this is OK. We were surprised to find the receptionist and other staff friendly enough and speak English well.
