We recently spent 6 nights in 2 separate stays at this hotel in Sydney and quite enjoyed our room and the service provided.The outside photos do not do justice to the quality of room and fixtures.The suite we had was appointed with new fixtures,bedding,A/C,TV ,DVD and furniture and very spacious with high ceilings. The room came with a kitchenette area including a fridge,microwave,kettle and toaster .....perfect for quick ,inexpensive breakfasts and beverages before and after exploring this beautiful city.
The washrooms are also completely renovated with quality fixtures and a spacious shower.
The desk staff was helpful at all times ,lending umbrella,providing directions,baggage storage etc.
The hotel aslo has internet availability ,a small lounge and an independent cafe in the building.
Located south centrally ,near Oxford and Liverpool Streets it was an easy walk to most key places of interest like Darling Harbour,Circular Quay,Opera House,Chinatown,Botanical Gardens, Anzac War Memorial and if transportation is required the Central train station,Museum Subway stop,buses and monorail are within 5 - 10 min walks.

Conveniently close also to an IGA food store,Priceline Drug store,pubs and a variety of restaurants and cafes featuring all food varieties.
Our decision to rebook our last 2 nights there is proof of our recommendation.

Didnt really have any expectations for this city hotel but it was great! Excellent location - dont do what we did and take a taxi from the central station to the hotel - your quicker walking it (get the map out!) due to one way streets and all that jazz! Right at the bottom of hyde park so instant and easy access to the city centre! Room was a fair size - nice and comfortable - cooking facilities consisted of a hob, kettle, microwave and toaster so made sure we were fed and watered coz to be honest we found it pretty hard to get anything decent to eat in the city as one of us is vegetarian (could not find the hard rock cafe for luv nor money!).... bathroom was very clean and nice - even had a wee heater which was good coz it was pretty cold when we were there! We were on the top floor...no views as such unless you look sideways up to hyde park but to be honest - who cares! Reception were nice and friendly - one gentleman in particular (he was either scandanavian or european) seemed to be there all the time (think he had a bed in the back! But he tried so hard to help with any queries! Cheers! So yes - recommended!

Clean rooms and convenient location. Close to shopping and city centre attractions. Good restaurants nearby (down stanley st.) and friendly staff. Stayed there for 5 days. I would stay there again.

We have stayed here 3 times now and this time appreciated the newly renovated rooms. The rooms are all now double glazed which makes for a very peacful sleep in the middle of Sydney.
Each time we have found the staff to be friendly and rooms always clean. Nice large king beds and showers with good pressure
The location is great - a 10 min walk to the heart of Pitt STreet Mall or the the entertainment district, china town, art gallery, and the clubs and cafes of Oxford Street .
