This was a nice hotel. The location is good - as others stated. The area really hops at night - with lots of the young business people out for dinner and drinks. The only downside was that the balcony was right over a street that had TONS of tour buses...so you could not really sit on the balcony without breathing in lots of fumes. I would suggest getting a room higher up. Service was very nice and we liked the cafe attached to the hotel. Very modern furniture that I kept hitting my knee, etc on (lots of sharp corners. I did think the room had a slightly damp feeling to it and the rug was a little dirty...although they are vacuumed every day.

This hotel is in an excellent location with Darling Harbour and the business district (if you are working) right on your doorstep. I had an executive studio on the top floor (6th) which had good views across the harbour and surrounding areas. What i would say is do not expect miracles with this hotel, it is basic and possibly in need of modernising. However, my room was kept clean to a relatively good standard and I had fresh towels etc every day. The best way of describing them is serviced apartments as opposed to a hotel. The Lime cafe which is the hotel's restaurant is poor at best - expect waits of up to an hour for a cooked breakfast - there are far better cafes/restaurants/food outlets within a short walk anyway. There are two supermarkets nearby but be warned they are not cheap - think they are cashing in on a captive market. Overall a pleasant enough stay but nothing you could get excited about; an excellent base for exploring the city though.

Situated at Darling Harbour, had a one bed aprt. Just walk outside and your at the harbour, which has 100's of really good resturants, with fantastic food. Hotel next to Wildlife centre and the Aquarium. Hotel was exceptionally clean, and the staff could not have been more helpful. Everything was spot on.

I stayed here for 5 nights in December 2007 and overall was happy and would recommend. I paid AUD244 per night for a 1 Bedroom Premier Apartment, which was booked directly via hotel website.

The location is very good and easy access to all the tourist spots as well as business areas. With 10 minutes walk to the train station and a direct train to the airport its very accessible. There are lots of bars / restaurant within a few minutes walk along the harbour and several small shops/supermarkets for food shopping.

The “Premier Apartment” was very spacious and consisted of a good bathroom; slightly small bedroom; a very large living area and huge balcony. The living area consisted of: Kitchen (with full sized fridge/freezer, cooker, oven, dishwasher & sink); dining table (4 seats); sofa & coffee table and TV. The bathroom was reasonably well appointed and also contained a washing machine and dryer. The balcony was huge and could be accessed from both bedroom and living area.

Some negatives: Décor somewhat tired and dated; in-room broadband internet access very expensive; swimming pool very small and no Jacuzzi. Also I didn’t like having to sign a declaration re room damages and how much I had to pay if I had a party / had too many people in my room, allowed people to smoke, etc… I was a solo business traveller and objected to being treated like this – maybe I am just being too sensitive.
