Rainbow's End is not the largest theme park in the world; for UK travellers I would compare it to a slightly smaller Chessington. It has all the essential theme park ingredients including adult and kiddy coasters, log flume, dodgems, cars, tower fall, a motion sim and bumper boats, packed into a fairly small area. We went on a sunny winter Sunday in the school holidays and there were very short (less than 5 minute) queues for most of the day. All the rides were working and the operators were friendly and helpful. There is an excellent little area for the under-8s too. There is little theming to speak of but there are a few costumed characters wandering around. There were stage shows (Bananas in Pyjamas and - a Michael Jackson impersonator?? Sorry, still a bit soon for that one I think!). The food outlets were pretty basic but passable and there are plenty of picnic tables and no objections to bringing your own food. I doubt that teens would be terribly impressed by it all but our pre-teens had a great time.
