After finding this property on a general search engine and liking the photos, I booked directly. I could only find reviews on the Queenstown forum, and not much information there either. So I was unsure of what to expect, but I should not have worried. The apartments were just wonderful. They are without a doubt the the most architectually striking apartments in Queenstown. The building is covered in stone and the huge windows have massive hardwood shutters. The huge full width, full height double-glazed windows were spectacular. The upper apartments had doors leading to a terrace, instead of the windows. The view was superlative (from all apartments excepting the studio apartments which have no lake facing windows), the accomodations top notch. The living/kitchen area was modern and well decorated with plasma tv, large sofa, dining table and a lovely fire. The kitchen had everything you may need. We made good use of the computer and free internet also. The washing machine and dryer also came in handy. The road was close, as some in the forum have commented, but I was not disturbed at all by any road noise. The rates were very reasonable also, especially in comparison to hotels vs the apartments. Overall a great place to stay. I have been lucky enough to have stayed at some wonderful hotels all over the world, and I would still rank this apartment as very good. The space offered in comparison with a hotel room is good enough reason, let alone the high standard of accomodations.
