Stayed at the Old Bakery after reading enthusiastic TripAdvisor reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. Located on the edge of town, but only a few minutes walk to the centre and 10 minutes walk to the Cataract Gorge Park.

Lovely room/suite with a separate sitting room, nicely and comfortably furnished. Good breakfast, helpful people, and the Laundry was invaluable!

We had 2 rooms there and both were wonderful and quaint. Lovely decore and comfortable beds. The breakfast at the resteraunt was very good as well. Wish we had more than one night there.

This hotel is based in a historic bakehouse, has great rooms and very helpful staff. We initially stayed in Waratah on York Street which is twice the price - the old bakery however turned out to be better furnished, much better breakfasts and of course is half the price.

We ended up here by default, but were we please. The hotel we had booked into had made a mistake so they got us a room here. It was the most tastefully homely decorated hotel I have ever stayed at with plenty of space and every convenience. The staff were most helpful and it was really top class at an affordable rate. We found we could walk the 3 blocks or so into town to get a meal in the evening as it was so centrally positioned. A great place to stay and we thorougly recommend it.
