A very pretty small house with very basic rooms on a very narrow street among many other houses. Not a good spot for a family, although it may be nice for a romantic retreat. The website does not adequately represent this hotel, for example the balconies are very small, really not for sitting on, and don't all have the best views. It is not on the beach, which we knew and did not mind the 10-15 min. walk down the hill, but once at the beach street there was no entrance to the beach other than private property. We walked a bit more looking for an entrance, gave up and went through an old deserted hotel property. There the beach was full of wood planks and nails and garbage. My spouse went in the other direction and came up with the same results. We got in the car and drove down the coast to a more desireable beach location for the day.
There are also many dogs (7 +) on the street. We were thrilled because we love dogs, so we walked up and down the street petting dogs and talking to owners. But the same dogs we loved during the day barked the entire night, making it very very hard to sleep. They honestly barked all night long, even sounding like they eventually had sore throats. The owners did nothing to quiet them. I would fall asleep and then they would start up again. After that night, we packed up, left a note and number, and moved to another hotel. Have not received any response from the owners and have lost the 2 nights room fee. No bad comments on the hotel, owners, etc. just very bad location all round.
A basic continental breakfast is included, yogurts, bread, juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs.
